3:2) Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

Hello Monday! I must share my heartfelt joy about the Journey Of A Lifetime Bible study we began last week. The excitement from the SunRise family has exceeded my wildest imagination. Over seventy people have signed up to be part of the in-building study and an untold number are participating online. Our latest online count has over 50 views since Wednesday evening. The great thing is that it is not to late to join either way to attend. We had an additional 25 workbooks arrive on Friday – the price is $15 for all materials. You can sign-up by going to the “Event” page on either the SunRise webpage or SunRise App. Or you can just show up at 6:30pm on Friday where we will cover the overview of the book of Genesis.
In our pick verses for today, John continues to extol the virtues and challenges of being a child of God. Belonging to God is the reason why the present age may be difficult for believers of any generation. The world, the culture, and/or the society in which a believer lives does not “know” us anymore that it “knows” our Father in Heaven. Nevertheless, we live with the blessed assurance that our future is secured in the Kingdom of Heaven, because when Jesus returns we will be even more like Him, and we will experience face-to-face fellowship with Him. Maintaining spiritual endurance know is the key to staying connected to the power and promise of God while we wait for our glory in Heaven.
