Sunday – April 4th - Philippians 4:21-23

4:21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you.
22 All the saints greet you, but especially those who are of Caesar's household.
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Easter Sunday inspirational thought from the Daily Walk Bible:
OTHERS WILL FOLLOW YOUR FOOTSTEPS MORE EASILY THAN THEY WILL FOLLOW YOUR ADVICE.*

Happy Easter! Today is the day we celebrate the reality of the empty tomb that once temporarily held the body of Jesus. The tomb was empty not because the body of Jesus was stolen but because God raised Jesus from the dead. The resurrection is the pivotal moment in God’s plan of salvation for humanity. Enjoy your celebration today of God’s invitation to a life in Heaven for all eternity. Please pray for those who are working their way toward a decision to follow Jesus.

Today we conclude our exploration of Paul’s letter to the believers living in and around the city of Philippi. Paul considers the members of this community of faith an equal and important part of the family of God. Paul’s greetings from those who are with him in Rome interestingly include those believers who were serving the Emperor himself. The Christian movement was spreading rapidly across the empire and as indicated had a strong foothold in Rome. We should always be open to sharing our faith with whomever God places in our lives. As Paul opened this letter with “grace”, so he now closes it with the same greeting. Friends, this is a fitting picture of the Christian life. Easter Sunday is a great day to share our faith of eternal life we have placed in an empty tomb.

Blessings
