Tuesday – March 30th – Philippians 4:11-12   ----

4:11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THERE IS A VAST DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUTTING YOUR NOSE IN OTHER PEOPLE’S BUSINESS AND PUTTING YOUR HEART IN OTHER PEOPLE’S PROBLEMS.*

Good Tuesday to you in this week before Easter. Today’s inspirational thought is a great reminder of how our role as a follower of Jesus is to be defined. We seek to know things not for the sake of knowing, but for the opportunity to serve quietly and humbly. Who and how might we extend our heart this week so others may be uplifted in their lives?

In our pick verses for today Paul continues to unpack his focus on being committed to Jesus. Paul describes how God has taught him to receive support from others. He is not greedy for financial support, because he had already leaned to have the peace of God in his life, regardless of the circumstances he may face. Paul has extended his thanks for any gifts he has received because he knows that giving will be a blessing to the giver. Paul’s uncertain and on the go life as a missionary has brought to him the blessings of contentment. What a great example for us to learn how to be content with what we have and not become obsessed on gathering things that may ultimately end up creating a separation between us and God. When we trust God in this moment, God will always take care of the next moment.

Blessings
